As part of our “Mom” caregiver community, this method of sharing responsibilities allows for others to help out. My youngest niece, who is a Senior in high school 7 hours away, called Mom to see how she was after the procedure and the blizzard.
Attitude is everything. Each person introduced themselves and was asked to comment about the snow. Without exception, each person said something lovingly about the snow, how it brightened up the brown ground, how they loved doing things in it. Other than extreme cold, each person described how they embraced the snow as part of Maine life, as part of LIVING.
In planning, the better I feel and the more effectively I can be upon arrival when I make the trip south to tackle situations with my Senior Mom.
